Cleveland Responds with Strong Second Half Performance

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are tied 1-1 in their Eastern Conference semifinal series after the Cavaliers took Game 4 in Boston on Tuesday night, 111-101.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 33 points, but it was the Cavaliers who controlled the game in the second half. Donovan Mitchell scored 29 points for Cleveland, while Darius Garland added 19 and Jarrett Allen had 17.

The Celtics took an early lead in the game, but the Cavaliers closed the gap in the second quarter and took a one-point lead into halftime. Cleveland extended its lead in the third quarter and held on for the win in the fourth.

The series now shifts to Cleveland for Game 5 on Thursday night. The winner of the series will advance to the Eastern Conference finals to face either the Miami Heat or the Philadelphia 76ers.
