2023 NCAA Baseball: Eight Fly to Omaha!

Familiar Faces Highlight College Baseball's Final Eight

The NCAA Tournament regionals and super regionals are complete, and eight teams have punched their tickets to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. The tournament begins on Friday, June 16th, and will run through the championship game on Tuesday, June 27th.

The field is a mix of familiar faces and newcomers. Three of the eight teams - Texas, Stanford, and LSU - have won national championships in the past five years. TCU, Vanderbilt, and Arizona all finished in the top four of the final D1Baseball.com poll, while Mississippi State and Florida are both making their first CWS appearance since 2019.

The tournament will be played in a double-elimination format, with the winner of each bracket advancing to the championship series. The championship series will be a best-of-three format.
